DIN Text Pro is official proposal for DIN 1451 was made in the year 1936 by the German Standards committee Deutsches Institut Normung (DIN). This was the paradigm lettering type to be used in the road traffic arena. The principle of this standard was to set down an eternal and decipherable calligraphy style.
The DIN Text Pro series, comprises of lowercase ascenders higher as compared to the capitals. It also consists of varying letter proportions and italics that are essentially a mechanically-obliqued adaptation of the regular weights. These are rather true-italics.
